For the past month or so we’ve been working on the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), a data standard for international aid.

We’ve been looking at the data quality, particularly across datasets. We’ve got a very flaky web app to look through some of the data, which tells us useful things, but might not mean much to anyone else! We’ve also been involved in writing a few scripts to do data conversion. All the code can be found on: https://github.com/caprenter.

In the last day or so we’ve been looking at OpenAtrium as a way of managing tasks. Big time Drupal fans, we’re quite liking this. We first came across it when doing the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue project, but haven’t used it for a while. What seems to be really useful is that we can have private projects with many groups of people.
